It's good to finally have some personal time to myself.
I have been literally busy and crazy probably everyday in college until the point that I'm so tired of going out and gotten sick a few times on and off which is pretty ugly honestly
I've finally finished my first semester of my degree and it is definitely not a very good semester for me since it's degree. I've never expected it to be this hard but it is. Surprisingly the assignments were even more stressful then the exams itself. And due to all these assignments, I've been having zero time for myself and even to study much. I did have to steal time to sneak some personal time off with some of my close friends.
It's been a tough semester and some of the close one I talk too were really supportive, by encouraging me to do what I should and I'm really glad to meet you all in college ;)
I am sure there are people probably going through the really tough times in their lives right now, especially those who are going through the horrible tragedy of MH17 which I did teared up reading when I saw the toy monkey which was photographed at the site. I am putting all my condolences from my heart to those who are involved and I pray for you to be strong and not to give up. This year has been tough for Malaysia. So, to those who are having tough times, do reflect on this tragedy and to think you still have the chance to change what you dislike about your lives. That's what I am going to do now and should stop blaming anyone including myself. We should always:-
-Real Friends
Surround ourselves with friends that care truly about you where they constantly send you text messages and send you weird website links to weird videos. These people will cheer you up and make you feel like you are important to them and surrounds you with positivity. They would come when you call and will make time to actually have a simple lunch with you. Find friends that would automatically think of you as part of their plans that keeps on check with you.
-Hobbies
Do things that you and only you like. If you are hanging with a bunch of friends that are constantly asking you to do things you do not really enjoy, stop doing it. It makes you feel pressured to accommodate too much and it may cause unhappiness. Fitting in is amazing but doing something you truly enjoy, it is even more amazing. If you like to crap, then do it.
-Food
Feed yourself and pamper your pallets with food. Anything you feel like eating, eat it. Of course, try not to overdo it. Too much of everything is not necessarily a good thing. Take one day off to detox by eating vegetables and fruits in your diet. Other than that, eat all kinds of food that makes you flutter. Pamper yourself!
-Beauty
Trust me, making yourself feel beautiful is one way to build self esteem and confidence. Take time to feel pretty by going to a saloon, do a facial mask or try a DIY body scrub. Paint you nails and try to manage your skin by going on searching for new moisturizers. Go on YouTube and watch ways to put on make up, how to keep your skin glowing it even learn how to make scrubs. It's always fun to see people do their hair or makeup and I think these are the best tutorials! I love Michelle Phan's videos. You should totally watch them.
-Coffee
This is ridiculously random, but coffee makes me happy as hell. This is my boost and my happy pill for the mornings where I get cranky and annoyed to classes. I would take coffee as my personal life savior because it totally feeds my palette. I love coffee from the smell of it to the process and to the taste. If you are a coffee person, congratulations because nothing beats coffee. Hehe.
Be grateful to what you have and cherish what you own.
If you keep looking anything a you don't have, you will never find happiness.
The fist step to be happy, is to be happy with yourself.
Have a great day ahead
xoxo

Absolute Thai Gardens
Thai food has always been one of my favs, and for my dad's birthday, we decided to go venturing on a Thai cuisine. People barely eat Thai food because it is really stupid expensive but when you do eat it, it is not stupid. It is not stupid because Thai food is generally rich and excellent in flavours especially for those who enjoys spice and hot flavours. I come from a family who love spicy food and not to mention that we need chilli for every meal. Yes, every meal and I am not kidding.
Hence, just a month back I was walking about with a friend of mine around Gardens Mall and walked past a pretty looking restaurant and the decorations had me woven into looking at it longer. The decos were simple and really chic which falls into this vintage chic sophistication bubble. I think it is a very lovely place for people to spend time and fall in love with the surroundings. They also have tables outside of their restaurant which is great like an open concept in a mall.
I love the art works. |
The simple chic menu |
The food we ordered were the famous ones they have on the featured part of the menu. The gorgeous fried fish was absolute worth the price lower than RM 50. Also, not to mention the classic tom yum hot sizzling firepot soup which was only priced lower than RM 30. the seafood were absolutely fresh and chewy.
Of course, Happy Birthday to my DAD. He's 25 this year, that's what he says every year. |
Favourite dessert. The Sticky Mango Rice. Worth the try! :D |

The dress was a present from a friend of mine. It is from Nineteen89 boutique.:)

Brussels: Mother's Day
The Amazing Star of the Day |
So my family decided to go to SetiaWalk to celebrate Mother's Day since we have never been there before. We went around the place and realized the place was actually really pretty but it was quite the shame we went there during the daylight. I saw a lot of pretty bulbs hanging around the places and tall majestic street lamps along the way. So, I guess the SetiaWalk would actually be pretty darn pretty at night. It is definitely romantic, well excusing the clubs. :)
Anyway, after taking about a half an hour walk around there, we got so hungry and decided to take our lunch. There were a lot of different cuisines around and we were definitely unsure of where or which restaurant to choose from. (I wanted everything!) I am such a glutton so we went again around and around the place until my mum decided to go with my sister's suggestion which is obviously, Brussels.
Wordless |
My sister ordered this pork burger which is absolutely stunning in presentation and taste pretty good. :D I love the bread though. The dough seems extremely fresh right out from the oven.
Lamb Shoulders Set |
Tomatoes and the Pineapples were fab. |
The burger on the top right: Beef Burger. The star of the day ordered that which I would say tasted much better than the pork because I love beef with bread. Biasness to the maximum level :D |
Inspiration for my next project :) |

Ossoto Recreation Hub
It has been more than a month that I've blogged. Well, honestly I created this blog for a college assignment but it is just so sad to abandon this blog. I've been abandoning so many of my social sites other than Facebook and Instagram. Let's just say maybe I should blog more. :)
Recently, (well no, not recently.) a friend of mine decided to celebrate the end of our finals for foundations by pampering ourselves. When we say pampering, we meant it by really pampering. Thus, the place we headed was to Ossoto Spa which is situated in Wisma Miramar, Pudu area.
At first, when my friend told me that we should go for a spa, I actually thought she was joking. I mean, spas are freaking expensive and let me tell you, I was really really broke at that point of that month. (Too much on food, Seriously)
However, when she told me the price, I was kinda shocked. I mean like really, that price for a spa? It was RM 68 for girls and RM 88 for the guys inclusive of the all the food in the restaurant for free, ordered anything at any time repeatedly (Malaysians, duh, :D) and beverages 24/7.
Not only that, there were also jacuzzi, sauna and the gym free of charge. My favourites were the ping pong room and of course the in-house cinema room which people can actually overnight there. I sat in the cinema for 6 hours watching movies ( I have a thing with movies) and not to mention, the comfortable recliner chairs and it comes with plugs so you can charge your phone.
After wandering about the lobby, we were given bracelets with codes on it to open our lockers. The lockers, spa room and all were not allowed to be photographed. Hence, you really need to go there to actually see it. :)
I actually loved wearing the bathrobe and I literally wore it everywhere. The reason is mainly because the place is kinda cold and I am really sensitive to temperature (Nah, I just like it.) Aside from awkward paper lingeries, I would say I actually enjoyed the hospitality here in Ossoto Spa.
I am not a big fan of any massages because I am really sensitive to people touching my shoulders, more load squeezing it. However, they do have plenty of massaging services but of course, you need to pay extra. :)
Special thanks to Chun Wei for driving us in his 'Mercedes Benz' hahaha and Apple for suggesting the place. It is an awesome for girlfriends to catch up and have a chat. Also, it really does make you feel away from the bustling city because you will not know whether it is day or night in there if we avoid the clocks. ]
I will say I give this place a rating 8 out of 10. :)

The last selca before we head to the cinema for Chris Hemsworth. I think we all know what movie it is. Duh.:) |

Bangkok 2013: Christmas Trip Day 2
Breakfast in Hua Hin |
Love |
Here's pretty much the second day of my Bangkok Trip. Pretty much it started with a really good breakfast although I'm not much of a morning person. However, I love coffee, so getting it early in the morning just to ease a little bit of my mood and sleepiness. ;) Of course, I ordered my all time love, Cappuccino. Why? Because its so fluffy and foamy. It always reminds me of bubble baths.
BACON BEEF POTATO EGG |
Now to pair up my coffee, I went with another one of my favourites for that morning. Yes, sliced bacons and beef and baked potatoes garnished with a pouched egg and pepper plus sour cream. ;) Seriously, I think this plate did brightened up my morning, it was soooooo banconizingly bacon good.
Later on we went to one of the oldest railway stations in Thailand itself.
Hua Hin Railway Station.
Okay, sure, yes mother, I so totally feel it.
Spot the Asian. |
Basically, we were still in Hua Hin. Since Hua Hin is famous for the beach, I mean, although I'm not a big fan of beaches, why not right. So we went and take pictures as evidences for my mum again, well, as long she is happy.
Hua Hin Beach
Busy beach. By the way, the horse was pooping. ;D |
Hua Hin Floating Market
Hua Hin Floating Market Entrance |
Floating market was quite lonely since there were no floating sampans on the river due to the fact we came at the wrong hour. ;( So, we just decided to buy a few souvenirs (mostly all my mum, since she what 'ah chan lou mou' also need to buy.) there and I actually purchased a blue dress for just RM 18. At least, something.
Handmade Dolls |
New
I can't believe tomorrow will be day I go back to college. Well, it was supposed to be last week but since attendances don't matter that first week, it ain't hurt anyone to be lazy right. The holidays have been making me quite a slack chick and being a potato couch almost every afternoon with the television and my break lunches. No, I wake up naturally, so it's definitely after twelve. I'm pretty good with sleeping over time.
Even though the new year mood passed, I still feel like I'm not new yet. Everything around me changed except me. Even the one person I thought would probably take time to feel normal seemed to heal already. I'm still kinda trapped in a place I'm unfamiliar with and I really want to get out. It's really hard trying to undo my feelings and just wipe it off. The question is how long would it take, that's crazy. Everyday I think about it and there are times when I think why. It's because I was living as an expectation but not myself. That's why I haven't been happy for the past couple of months. And I know I was making that person unhappy too.
I have so many things planned for the idea of 'us' but it just didn't matter anymore after a decision. It's sad how life make you choose between staying true to yourself or being with someone you love so much but losing 'myself' on the way. Sometimes I think it's unfair of God to put me here but I trust His plans and hopes He restores my faith. I regretted nothing but am really sad how it went down.
Since tomorrow will be the day I start my busy days, I will try to put all my energy and attention to all of these. This semester, will probably be the one I wished it will be roller coaster like, challenging and just crazy. I want to drown in that pile of crap. Since everything is different now, I'll have a new lifestyle to adapt to. Yes, one person can change your entire regime of life and I guess I need to change it and do new things. Like, exercise more, hit the gym, swim, cycle and just a good breakfast every morning by waking up early. (Unless I rave and party the night before which is rare) I want to just be myself again. And never love until I'm ready.
If everyone could see how things will end at the end all the consequences, would we have chosen that path?

Long Awaited Meetup
For months, I've been longing to meet up with Ashley and Bridget. Ever since last year's July, I don't think I've actually seen their faces. Well, I finally met them but only with Bridget yesterday since Ashley 'fong fei kei' and fly far far away. But we have wonderful plans and our scheme was to make Ashley jealous. ;D
So after deliberating for a long 30 minutes (its not long but so be it), we decide to go Pavilion and do our Chinese New Year Shopping. We were going back and forth from Pavilion to Fahrenheit and H&M in the Lot 10 building.
Selfies <3 |
Bridget was probably raping the stores as she took anything she thinks were well, nice. Price tags actually were secondary for her (she was literally grabbing so many clothes until she dropped it all on the floor ;D) After shopping for a few hours, we went to Tous Les Jours Cafe opposite Lot 10 Building. ;)

Bangkok 2013 : Christmas Trip Day 1
Finally had time to upload all the Bangkok photographs into my laptop. So definitely, this post will be filled with some Bangkok love. ;)
Well, my family kicked out the traditional ways and decide to celebrate Christmas this year. And to have an excellent kick start, we decided to go all the way to one of the most shopping centred countries in the world, Thailand. What's the pain, with a little excitement for shopping? Right, the money.
Nevertheless, we started of boarding really early in the morning, well 4 am to be exact. The premier van drove us all the way to the airport. Since it was still dark and everyone looked like pandas, I decided to skip the photographing and just sleep.
When we finally boarded, we continued sleeping on the plane for a whole two hours. As we got down, we took a taxi straight to our condo. It took the taxi 4 hours to find the condo since it was new and it was located in Hua Hin. As we reached there, we decided our first thing to do is get coconut water. Because, we were all dehydrated in the car.

During the night, we decided to go to Cicada Market. Its a flea market filled with crafts and handmade products. Probably, one of my favourite places during the trip.
