Absolute Thai Gardens

Thai food has always been one of my favs, and for my dad's birthday, we decided to go venturing on a Thai cuisine. People barely eat Thai food because it is really stupid expensive but when you do eat it, it is not stupid. It is not stupid because Thai food is generally rich and excellent in flavours especially for those who enjoys spice and hot flavours. I come from a family who love spicy food and not to mention that we need chilli for every meal. Yes, every meal and I am not kidding.

Hence, just a month back I was walking about with a friend of mine around Gardens Mall and walked past a pretty looking restaurant and the decorations had me woven into looking at it longer. The decos were simple and really chic which falls into this vintage chic sophistication bubble. I think it is a very lovely place for people to spend time and fall in love with the surroundings. They also have tables outside of their restaurant which is great like an open concept in a mall.

I love the art works.

The simple chic menu

The food we ordered were the famous ones they have on the featured part of the menu. The gorgeous fried fish was absolute worth the price lower than RM 50. Also, not to mention the classic tom yum hot sizzling firepot soup which was only priced lower than RM 30. the seafood were absolutely fresh and chewy.

Of course, Happy Birthday to my DAD. He's 25 this year, that's what he says every year.

Favourite dessert. The Sticky Mango Rice. Worth the try! :D

Brussels: Mother's Day

The Amazing Star of the Day
So my family decided to go to SetiaWalk to celebrate Mother's Day since we have never been there before. We went around the place and realized the place was actually really pretty but it was quite the shame we went there during the daylight. I saw a lot of pretty bulbs hanging around the places and tall majestic street lamps along the way. So, I guess the SetiaWalk would actually be pretty darn pretty at night. It is definitely romantic, well excusing the clubs. :)

Anyway, after taking about a half an hour walk around there, we got so hungry and decided to take our lunch. There were a lot of different cuisines around and we were definitely unsure of where or which restaurant to choose from. (I wanted everything!) I am such a glutton so we went again around and around the place until my mum decided to go with my sister's suggestion which is obviously, Brussels.

Wordless

My sister ordered this pork burger which is absolutely stunning in presentation and taste pretty good. :D I love the bread though. The dough seems extremely fresh right out from the oven.

Lamb Shoulders Set
My dad and I went with the classic lamb meal. It is a set served along side a plate of salad and mint sauce and drinks of my choice. Well, I would say it was pretty tasty only if you ordered well done. My dad had the not medium rare and it was super chewy.

Tomatoes and the Pineapples were fab.

The burger on the top right: Beef Burger. The star of the day ordered that which I would say tasted much better than the pork because I love beef with bread. Biasness to the maximum level :D
 I say Brussels is worth a 7.5 out of a 10.

We then went in to the mall and found the Shanghai themed food court which was pretty interesting. There were a lot of old ornaments and props of the old Shanghai era, placed all over the food court for people to take pictures. While everyone were busy taking pictures of the olden trishaw thinking they cannot sit on it, I decided to sit on it because it was allowed to. As soon as I did that, there were like 30 people queuing up right after my family. Opps, my bad.

Inspiration for my next project :)

Ossoto Recreation Hub

It has been more than a month that I've blogged. Well, honestly I created this blog for a college assignment but it is just so sad to abandon this blog. I've been abandoning so many of my social sites other than Facebook and Instagram. Let's just say maybe I should blog more. :)

Recently, (well no, not recently.) a friend of mine decided to celebrate the end of our finals for foundations by pampering ourselves. When we say pampering, we meant it by really pampering. Thus, the place we headed was to Ossoto Spa which is situated in Wisma Miramar, Pudu area.

The Lobby. I love the red stools. :D

At first, when my friend told me that we should go for a spa, I actually thought she was joking. I mean, spas are freaking expensive and let me tell you, I was really really broke at that point of that month. (Too much on food, Seriously)

However, when she told me the price, I was kinda shocked. I mean like really, that price for a spa? It was RM 68 for girls and RM 88 for the guys inclusive of the all the food in the restaurant for free, ordered anything at any time repeatedly (Malaysians, duh, :D) and beverages 24/7.
Not only that, there were also jacuzzi, sauna and the gym free of charge. My favourites were the ping pong room and of course the in-house cinema room which people can actually overnight there. I sat in the cinema for 6 hours watching movies ( I have a thing with movies) and not to mention, the comfortable recliner chairs and it comes with plugs so you can charge your phone.

From the left : Kelly, Apple, Eugene and Chun Wei

Well, we were really excited so yeah.
After wandering about the lobby, we were given bracelets with codes on it to open our lockers. The lockers, spa room and all were not allowed to be photographed. Hence, you really need to go there to actually see it. :)

We had our brunch that day here. Including ice creams <3

The cute cute bathrobes and the comfy slippers.
I actually loved wearing the bathrobe and I literally wore it everywhere. The reason is mainly because the place is kinda cold and I am really sensitive to temperature (Nah, I just like it.) Aside from awkward paper lingeries, I would say I actually enjoyed the hospitality here in Ossoto Spa.

I am not a big fan of any massages because I am really sensitive to people touching my shoulders, more load squeezing it. However, they do have plenty of massaging services but of course, you need to pay extra. :)

The last selca before we head to the cinema for Chris Hemsworth. I think we all know what movie it is. Duh.:)

Special thanks to Chun Wei for driving us in his 'Mercedes Benz' hahaha and Apple for suggesting the place. It is an awesome for girlfriends to catch up and have a chat. Also, it really does make you feel away from the bustling city because you will not know whether it is day or night in there if we avoid the clocks. ]
I will say I give this place a rating 8 out of 10. :)
